| The typefaces of the Font Bureau sometimes quote older sources,
remaking the image of vernacular lettering into an updated form.
Their display faces, highly mannered and useful for headlines or a
few eye-catching keywords in an ad or on a page, are sometimes
derived from 19th-century wood type. |
